ACTION
ITEM: Next Public Meeting(s).
The Fort Bragg public meeting had been
tentatively scheduled to be held in late January or early
Feburary. A date of around January 30th was
suggested. A weeknight evening, starting at 6:30 or 7 PM is
considered optimal in family-oriented Fort Bragg. Monday and
Tuesday nights are considered best to avoid conflict with other
activities. The Fort Bragg planning office will be notified
of the meeting.
The Anderson valley meeting
had been
tentatively scheduled for February. Patty Madigan proposed to
suggest to the Navarro Watershed Working Group (http://www.nwwg.org)
that they sponsor this meeting, to coincide with their regular meeting
on the 3rd Tuesday (February 21, 2006). This
proposal was accepted by the Planning Committee.
Discussion Item: Presentation to Board
of Supervisors, presented by Peter Warner.
Following discussions with
Kendall
Smith, Peter has been working on arranging a presentation about the
MCWMA to the Board of Supervisors. Because the NFWF proposal
was approved on the consent calendar, there was not an opportunity to
provide information to the Board at that time. A 15 minute
presentation is suggested,
using Powerpoint and following a tight structure. Patty
Madigan suggested asking the Board of Supervisors for a Resolution of
Support.
