California Invasive Plant Council Symposium: September 20-22, 2007,

Join Cal-IPC in San Diego - the county with the most diverse flora in all of California! Every year, Cal-IPC hosts a three-day Symposium to bring together weed scientists, land managers, federal, state, and local agencies, and concerned citizens to share the latest information about invasive plants, their impacts on California's ecosystems, control and management strategies, and other relevant topics. Each symposium includes presentations, research posters, working and discussion groups, and field trips. Approximately 375 people attended the 2006 Symposium. This year, Cal-IPC will convene at the Bahia Resort Hotel on beautiful Mission Bay. Special sessions will address "Conservation and Communication: The Human Dimension in Invasive Plant Management."
