The IMCWMA introduces a new opportunity to assist the community to manage invasive weeds in Inland Mendocino County. The more we understand what weeds we have in our area and where they are, the better we can plan how to control them. 2007 CDFA Funding Allocation
The Mendocino County proposal to the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for Weed Management Area funding was approved, with full funding granted to the Red Sesbania Eradication Project for the Inland Mendocino Cooperative Weed Management Area.

Inland Mendocino Cooperative Weed Management Area (IMCWMA) is hosted
a series of meetings in October and November of 2007 to raise awareness and
increase participation in invasive weed management.
