Instructions:

• Use the selection box below the map to select the weed species to be displayed. You may need to use the scrollbars at the right and bottom to scroll to the lower left corner. Only one weed species may be displayed at a time. Verified observations are shown by yellow circles, unverified by red markers. Click on a marker to see the observation date.
• You can view this map with the road background, or you can use the vegetation/relief background (a satellite image with roads, geologic features, and vegetation). To switch background, please scroll to the upper right corner, click on the "+" symbol and then click on the radio button next to "satellite" in the legend. The new map may take a moment to load. To hide the legend, click on the (-). If you want to switch back to the road background, click on the (+) symbol again and choose "roads." You can switch map backgrounds at any time without losing your place.
• Once you have chosen the species and background, pan the map by using the arrows in the upper left to put the location of interest in the center of the map. Then click on the "plus" symbol on the vertical "zoom bar" (below the arrows) to zoom in on your location. You may have to pan again to bring your location back into the center. Repeat until you reach the desired zoom level. If you get the level on the road background that says "We are sorry, ...", you can switch to the satellite map for a slightly closer zoom. Unfortunately, if you switch weed species, you will return to the map view that includes the entire county. We hope to improve this step in the future.
