Sesbania punicea (red sesbania, scarlet wisteria, rattlebox)
This species was introduced recently in the horticultural trade.

Sesbania punicea invades riparian areas. The only known escaped population in Mendocino County is undergoing eradication, but this plant does still occur in landscaping.
