Myriophyllum aquaticum (parrot's feather)
Parrot's feather is an aquatic weed that spreads vegetatively by plant fragments, and is easily dispersed when plants are caught in boat propellors.

Myriophyllum aquaticum is not common in Mendocino County, but can be locally very dense when it occurs, choking ponds.
